Love Island fans are strapping in for an especially dramatic episode of the ITV series, after a first look for tonight's episode teased Jacques O'Neill's shock departure from the villa.
A spokesperson for the reality series confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that the 23-year-old rugby player had "made the decision to leave the villa" and would explain his reasons to the Islanders in tonight's episode.
Watch the first look here:
Before he left the villa, Jacques had been working to fix his fractured relationship with Paige Thorne, 24, who was left heartbroken when she found out what he had been up to while she was away at Casa Amor last week.

After trying to win back her affections with a hand-written note on a napkin and a speech written on his Notes app, Jacques had finally made it out of the dog house by Monday (11 July).
But just as he was getting comfortable, the villa was shook by the arrival of former Love Island castmate and ultimate bombshell Adam Collard.
Adam, 26, appeared to have his sights set on Paige when he made his grand return, wasting no time in pulling her for a chat to discuss her relationship with Jacques.

The season four star was eager to point out to Paige that Jacques might not be what she's looking for.
Highlighting the fame and attention that comes after leaving the Love Island villa, Adam told her: "I don't need to get that out of my system like some boys do... I feel like some of the guys in here will want to do that."
And it seemed as though Paige agreed when she replied: "I'm not ready to train somebody else up to be a boyfriend. You're either boyfriend material or you're not. And I'm not really here to nurture someone into that, you know what I mean?"
Paige went on to tell Adam that she predicts Jacques won't be happy with them getting to know each other.

"Honestly, I think he might feel a little bit intimidated," she mused.
A teaser clip at the end of Monday night's episode, suggested that Paige was bang on.
After hearing word that Adam had been "slagging him off", Jacques looked pretty peeved, and marched straight over the Paige to find out what was said.

"Has Adam been f**king me off?" he asked her. "Who the f**k is he?! Just another geezer who's been on the show? You're f**king nothing, mate."
However, a first look at Tuesday night's episode suggests that Adam's arrival might have been just enough to shake Jacques, after all.
Speaking to Paige, Jacques holds back tears as he says: "I just wish I could finish my journey off with you in here, but..."
