Love Island star Paige Thorne has revealed that she suspected her former partner Jacques O'Neill had cheated before he even admitted to it at the shocking Casa Amor recoupling.
It was described as one of the most 'explosive' recouplings of all time when the girls returned from the dreaded Casa Amor this year; Dami and Indiyah had an intense stand-off, Andrew brought back Coco before lashing out at Tasha, and Jacques was confronted for leading on a heartbroken bombshell.
Yes, fans of the reality series will remember that, before she coupled up with season four hunk Adam Collard, Paige only had eyes for cheeky chap Jacques - but their romance fizzled out when she learned what he had been up to while she was away.

During the fiery recoupling episode, Paige was the last girl to walk back into the villa, returning without a man on her arm in the hopes that Jacques had remained faithful while she was away.
For a brief moment, the Welsh beauty was relieved when she saw Jacques standing by himself, waiting for her - but the feeling didn't last long.
Just moments later, with a nudge from host Laura Whitmore, Casa bombshell Cheyanne revealed that she had been getting to know Jacques while Paige was away, and was shocked that he had not chosen to couple up with her.

The dramatic scene marked the beginning of the end for Paige and Jacques, and it wasn't long before the couple called it a day.
But, as shocked as she may have seemed in the moment, Paige has since admitted that she actually saw it coming.
Looking back on the tumultuous episode, Paige told former Love Island star and Casa Amor fiend Toby Aromolaran that she knew she was 'getting mugged off'.

Speaking to Toby on his podcast Fancy A Chat, she recalled: "I knew it was going south when I was last to go in for the recoupling.
“I was sitting in that car park saying, ‘Boys if I'm getting mugged off in here I'm walking’. I was going off before I even went in there. I knew it was going to be bad.”
She added: “I had the biggest smile on my face walking in. Then it was the comment as soon as I sat down. He went, ‘I've tested myself by the way’ and I knew."
Toby chimed in that Casa Amor was used as a way 'to kill the boys' every single year, to which Paige laughed and said: “It's not even a test for the girls, it's the boys and they fail every time.”
Later, Paige added that she thought Jacques 'would have been a lot more respectful' in Casa Amor, 'just because of how we had been'.

When he decided to leave the villa once and for all, Jacques told Paige that he would wait for her on the outside, and hinted that he would love to make her his girlfriend. However, it looks like it just wasn't meant to be for these two.
Just days later, Paige found her prince charming in Adam Collard, and the pair went on to come in fifth place on the 2022 series.
While the couple work on nurturing their relationship on the outside world, Jacques is occupied with working on himself, after upsetting a number of his former co-stars.

The rugby pro has already been unfollowed by some of his fellow islanders since the series came to an end, after being accused of 'bullying' the likes of Tasha Ghouri and Remi Lambert.
When fans started to pile on the backlash, Jacques issued a public apology for his behaviour.
He told his followers: "I know this can be used as an important lesson for me moving forward and over the coming years. I hope I can become the person I want to be and use this new platform to spread a positive message. I'm sorry to anyone that I have let down."
