Love Island contestants are set for a sizzling few days after reports suggest that certain areas of Spain could see temperatures rising as high as 50C.
With Season 8 of the show - which is set in a Majorcan villa - in full swing, the islanders are set to face scorching temperatures in the coming days.
Graham Keely, The Times' Spain correspondent, has explained that a record breaking temperature of 50C could be reached, beating the current record of 47.5C.

Speaking on Newstalk, he said: "Temperatures have already reached the early 40s in parts of southern Spain.
"What is alarming is that the forecasters here are saying we could see temperatures rising as high as 50C.
"What is exceptional about what is happening now is that it is happening before summer has even started officially. It starts officially on the 21st.

"So, this is the earliest heatwave for 40 years – since 1981. This is quite something."
While the hottest areas are expected to be central and south-western Spain, the intense heatwave will see areas including Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Majorca and Ibiza affected, while Costa del Sol is also expected to see high temperatures.
Where the Love Island villa is based, temperatures could reach 40C.
Holidaymakers are being told to exercise extreme caution, such as avoiding being out in the sun during the hot afternoon hours, staying hydrated and wearing SPF 50 suncream.

We hope that villa is air conditioned!
Meanwhile on the show, following Tuesday (14 June) evening's episode, viewers were adamant that Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and new boy Jay Younger could be soulmates after Jay made a very familiar comment during his first moments in the villa.
At the end of the ep, Jay and fellow new boy Remi Lambert arrived at the villa where they were greeted by the other islanders, who were having a party.

Moments later, Ekin-Su tells the girls she's going to 'pass out' after meeting Jay. "I really like him, I'm getting to know him," she says.
And it seems the pair could certainly be a good match, after a preview clip of Wednesday's episode shows Jay telling the group he's "not here for seasonal boyfriends".
Viewers were quick to remember that Ekin-Su made the very same comment when she arrived in the villa, telling the girls she's "not here to make seasonal girlfriends".
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2.
