Love Island fans are feeling mega protective of Luca after an explosive argument broke out between him and Dami in Monday (5 July) evening's episode of the show.

It all kicked off shortly after a few of the boys kissed the new girls. While Dami kissed Summer up on the terrace, Davide kissed Coco, and Andrew also kissed Coco later in the evening.
The boys decided to have a 'boys chat' around the fire pit, where they discussed the evening's events, with Andrew explaining he had kissed Coco, and Dami admitting to sharing a kiss with Summer.
But things exploded when Dami accused Luca of 'being fake' after he was spotted nudging Jacques while the boys were discussing what had happened.
"Stop egging other people on... just be real for once," said Dami.

"What cause you fu**ed up tonight and you regret it?" asked Luca, while Dami added: "I'm just saying you're fake... you're fake bro, you say one thing then do another.
“I just told you how I feel about Indiyah, but at the end of the day you’re trying to tell me I’ve done something wrong.”
While the other boys said that they didn't think Luca was fake, some said they could see Dami's point. However, Dami later said that while he didn't think Luca's romance with Gemma was fake, it was more the 'acting up' in front of the boys.

But fans were not impressed with the argument, with many taking Luca's side.
One wrote on Twitter: "After watching this episode we all gotta protect Luca at all cost."
While another said: "Gemma is happy with Luca. Luca is happy with Gemma. What's not clicking? Dami was telling us he's happy with Indiyah but look now, and he thinks he's being more real than Luca? HOW?"
And a third added: "Luca is so right. Dami is wrong and doesn't want to admit it."

Eventually, Luca and Dami made up, but it was obvious that the argument was still bugging Luca, after he admitted he was still thinking about it while the islanders were getting ready for bed that evening.
Elsewhere in the episode, fans were totally shocked that so many of the boys had kissed the new girls. While Dami has now kissed Summer, Andrew has kissed Coco and Davide has kissed both Coco and Mollie.
"Davide and Dami I’m actually disappointed," said one.
