Married At First Sight UK is set to have one of its most ‘explosive seasons’ ever.
The E4 dating show won’t be hitting our screens until later this year, but an insider has claimed that there has already been ‘wife swapping’ on set (yes, really).
If that wasn’t enough, they also claimed that two of the grooms are threatening to go-toe-to-toe after filming ended.

While the claims haven’t been verified by E4, it is unsurprising that there has been plenty of drama surrounding the series.
For those not in the know, the dating show pairs up brides and grooms - specifically partnered by a panel of sex and relationship experts - despite them never meeting before the Big Day.
The rest of the series then follows the couples and sees whether they can find matrimonial bliss with their new spouses.
Of course, the path of true love has never ran smoothly, with the show being infamous for its on-screen spats, including Megan cheating Bob, Matt and Gemma’s angry breakup, and Jason still being on Tinder despite being married for just two weeks.

But the latest UK series is set to be just as dramatic, with shows set to air later this year between August and October.
While a source claims that Married At First Sight UK has yet to film the reunion episode, they did reveal that there has already been plenty of drama on screen.
In an interview with OK!, they explained: “This season of MAFS UK has just finished filming and it is very explosive. [There’s] wife swapping, massive rows and even a physical altercation between two of the grooms. One of them was even removed from the show.”

It seem that the new constantans are even struggling to get along with other couple, with two of the grooms reportedly at each other’s throats
“Since filming ended, the cast’s WhatsApp group chat has blown up. The two grooms are going head-to-head and are planning a boxing fight between them,” the source claimed, adding: “The reunion is due to be filmed in July and at this rate it will be explosive.”
Though E4 hasn’t confirmed whether this is true, it seems the UK version of the series is following in the footsteps of its Australian counterpart and injecting some serious drama.

According to a press release from Channel 4, the Aussie show has been so big that it helped the channel break streaming records back in April.
Well, we can’t wait for the UK edition either!
