Millennials are reliving their teens following the release of Netflix's latest documentary White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch.
From spending the weekends ambling around in shopping centres and catching the undeniable whiff of the A&F store, to carrying your PE kit in the infamous shopping bags with shirtless men on the front, many viewers found themselves reminiscing on the bizarre era.

In the documentary, Netflix explores the Abercrombie & Fitch generation with its shop floors with dim lighting and loud pulsing dance beats, while its staff and models all captured a very specific 'all-American' look for the brand.

But after years of profiting off young people's desire to be cool, the brand eventually came crashing down when its exclusionary marketing and discriminatory hiring was brought to light.
Having tuned in to the shocking documentary, millennial viewers took to Twitter to look back on the brand's golden years, discussing whether or not their younger selves got swept up in the A&F glory.
"This #AbercrombieAndFitch doc is triggering all sorts of high school/college memories," tweeted one viewer. "One of my college friends was the shirtless guy out front."
"Mall culture was everything in middle and high school #AbercrombieAndFitch," wrote a second.

Some viewers struggled to get past the overpowering, headache-inducing smell that wafted from every Abercrombie & Fitch shop.
"I can’t believe it took almost 12 minutes before we started talking about the cologne #AbercrombieAndFitch #whitehot #Netflix," one person wrote.
"Raise your hand if you were personally victimized by Abercrombie’s strong ass cologne #WhiteHOT #AbercrombieAndFitch," joked another.

The shirtless models at the door of the shop were another trademark for Abercrombie & Fitch, which one Twitter user remembered all too well.
She wrote: "#AbercrombieAndFitch trending makes me think of the time I was walking out of a work meeting in #Dublin about 10 years ago & saw this shirtless #bro display... And as I recall it was about 5 Celsius that evening."
Another recalled: "What a time it was to be alive when we used to just go to malls and casually walk in and see a shirtless dude with an orange puffer jacket at an Abercrombie & Fitch store for no good reason and walk by them like it was normal."
