Viewers of Naked Attraction were left wincing and crossing their legs tightly after a contestant confessed he bought a partner a Moonpig card to apologise for causing an injury during a pretty intense sex session.
The 2021 episode of the unique and risqué Channel 4 dating show showed IT consultant and part-time wrestler, Iain, literally baring all to try and find a date based on physical attraction.

After the 'bottom halves' of the six women were revealed and the conversation moved to all things vaginal, Iain made the unprecedented confession to host Anna Richardson about his bedroom faux pas.
He explained: "Being a wrestler, there's a lot of power involved. So this one time, it was all going pretty well, I was putting the power down and then I slipped out, and for me it was like punching a shark on the nose, banging against the wrong part you know, for her it sort of bled after that."
When a shocked Anna suggested that he probably caused a painful vaginal tear, Iain responded: "I sent her a Moonpig card." Speechless.

A clearly shocked Anna was dumbfound by Iain's choice of apology gift.
"Not flowers, not chocolates... amazing," Anna said, wiping away tears of laughter.
Later in the episode when Iain sent one of the contestants home, the rejected party took it as an opportunity to joke about his recent Moonpig confession.

"I'm not that disappointed, because at least you're not going to smash my vulva and I'm going to get a Moonpig card in the post," she reasoned.
The woman who got lucky and paired up with Iain at the end of the episode turned out not to be his perfect match after all.
Viewers were left 'speechless' to say the least, with one woman tweeting: "[Iain] sending a moonpig card to apologise to a woman after performing a vaginal tear has left me speechless."
"Nothing compensates a vaginal tear like a Moonpig card. FFS," said another user.

A third viewer joked: "Teared her vagina but sent her a Moonpig card to say sorry."
In case you're wondering: a vaginal tear (or laceration) is a wound in the tissues of the vagina and can be caused by damage during sex, childbirth or by putting a foreign object into the vagina.
Treatment depends on how severe the tear is; if the tear is superficial, it may cause light bleeding and some pain whereas deeper tears are more likely to cause heavy bleeding and severe pain and may need stitches or even surgery.

There are over-the-counter pain medicines to help treat a vaginal tear and soaking in a warm bath is also an option.
It is important to contact your GP if the tear is severe.
