One Of Us Is Lying fans can't help but notice the same thing about Nate after binge-watching the new TV drama mystery, adapted from Karen M. McManus' novel of the same name.
The Peacock series officially dropped on Netflix last week and while people are absolutely loving the murder mystery, fans of the original book have notes.
Watch the trailer for the series here:
The series follows five very different high school students who find themselves in detention together - à la Breakfast Club. But when one of them dies under suspicious circumstances, an investigation ensues.

Students Cooper, Addy, Bronwyn, and Nate all have a motive to kill their classmate Simon, but the question is - whodunnit?
And while some viewers are taking notes and trying to get tot the bottom of the mystery, fans of the novel are all wondering the same thing - why does Nate look like that?
Nate (Cooper van Grootel) is the school's resident bad boy and drug dealer - think Judd Nelson's Bender.

In the book, Nate is described as tall and wide-set with dark blue eyes and black hair. He tends to wear a leather jacket and a Guinness t-shirt.
In the series, however, Nate rocks a mop of blonde hair and light blue eyes.
After tuning in to the series on Netflix, one fan of the novel tweeted: "I don’t know who’s responsible for casting nate but he’s nothing like he was described in the book #oneofusislying".
A second wrote: "I’m half way through one of us is lying but they changed half of the storylines from the book and Nate isn’t the Nate I had in mind 🤔😥 BUT it is a good series to watch! #oneofusislying"
