Those who have tuned in to Netflix's new documentary Our Father were left 'disgusted' when they learned of the amount Dr Donald Cline was for impregnating a number of his patients without consent.
The documentary tells the shocking story of Dr Cline's artificial insemination of 50 of his female patients with his own sperm in Indianapolis across the 1970s and 1980s.
Check out the trailer here:
Through his fertility clinic, Dr Cline told patients that they were being artificially inseminated by donors, before secretly inseminating them with his own sperm.

At the time of the Netflix documentary's release, Dr Cline is said to have fathered 94 children - many of whom ended up living 'within a 25-mile radius of each other'.
After a number of Dr Cline's children made the horrific discovery about their biological father, they sought to get justice for themselves and their distraught families. However, things got complicated when it was found that there were no laws in Indiana at the time that specifically prohibited Dr Cline's actions.
Prosecutor Tim DeLaney said in the documentary: "I don't deny that it was a sexual violation. But legally, there's just no crime that touches this particular act."

Since the doc dropped earlier this month, viewers have been left disgusted over the revelation that Dr Cline was let off with nothing but a $500 fine and a loss of his medical license.
Reacting to the rather disappointing outcome, people took to Twitter to discuss.
"So Dr. Cline raped over 50 women and only got a $500 fine. American legal system for you" wrote one Netflix user.
"Just watched Our Father on Netflix , this Dr got over 93 kids from inseminating his patients unknowingly and he only got a $500 fine once they found out. someone make it make sense" tweeted a second viewer.
"A 500$ fine and that’s it?" asked a third. "This man had followers and friends supporting him smfh. Disregard to all those woman he violated, disgusting."

A fourth outraged viewer wrote: #OurFather has to be one of the most disturbing things I've ever watched. The fact that this man got away with this for so long, and after ALL OF IT COMING OUT, only got fined $500 and lost his medical license?! That judge should be ashamed of themselves, what a slap in the face!"
And a fifth added: "The fact that what Cline did is not classed as some kind of sexual assault is so wild to me. How can you violate this many women and just get a $500 fine? I’m sickkk."
Eventually, in 2019, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb signed a law that made fertility fraud and deception illegal in the state.
