It has been announced that Samantha Jones – one of Sex and the City’s most iconic characters – will be appearing in series two of the reboot!
The news was revealed by show-runner Michael Patrick King in an interview with Variety.
When asked if Kim Cattrall, 62, who starred in the original series as well as the films, would appear, he replied: "Yes!"

This may come as a surprise to some after he previously said she wouldn’t return to the franchise as she wasn’t welcome.
He said: "It's all so new right now. One of my big rules is don't tell things until they're real.
"My goal is to bring all the characters into the mix together, so that they're not so much on separate runways."
News that the spin-off had been renewed for its second season was revealed by HBO in March of this year, PEOPLE reported.

It will also feature the return of Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis as Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, and Charlotte York-Goldenblatt, The Mirror reports.
King said in a statement: "I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters – played by these powerful, amazing actors.
"The fact is, we're all thrilled. And Just like That… our Sex life is back."
News of the original line-up returning for the reunion also comes after Parker opened up about her fallout with Cattrall.

The pair's alleged fued goes all the way back to the early naughties, ELLE reports, and was allegedly centred around earnings.
Parker had bagged a higher salary with an executive producer title in the second season, prompting Cattrall reportedly to ask for a higher salary too.
However, the women later attested that their fallout was nothing more than fodder for gossip magazines.
Parker recently told The Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast: "I've been so careful about not ever wanting to say anything that is unpleasant.

“Because it's not the way I like to conduct conversations that are as complicated as this, you know?
"It's so painful for people to keep talking about this 'catfight' – a fight, a fight, a fight. I've never uttered fighting words in my life about anybody that I've worked with ever.
"There is not a 'fight' going on. There has been no public dispute or spat or conversations or allegations made by me or anybody on my behalf.
"I wouldn't do it. That is not the way I would have it," she asserted.
