SATC Fans Are Just Noticing Charlotte Was In Friends

Sex and the City star Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte in original series and in the recent reboot And Just Like That, also appeared in an episode of Friends and tbh it's blowing our minds.

The actress appears in the episode 'The One With Ross' Library Book' as Erin, a woman with whom Joey had a brief fling with.

Kristin has recently spoken to Today about her experience appearing on the show saying: "Sex and the City was in production, but I was nervous to be the tiny character of Erin, losing sleep, partly because of the live audience, but partly because you’re in this world that has been created that is so alive and so specific and you’re trying to make sure you’re fitting yourself in there properly."

The actress continued: "I remember, like, ‘Will I set that joke up okay?'” she said. "Will Matt [LeBlanc] be happy? Will I just go blank?’ Things go through your head when you’re in those situations that are heightened like that."

Since the episode first aired fans of both shows have been shocked to see Charlotte turn up in Joey's apartment.

One fan took to Twitter, posting: "Kristin Davis on this episode of Friends weirds me out every time I see it. YOU ARE CHARLOTTE AND NO ONE ELSE"

Another viewer posted to Reddit, writing: "I always forget that Kristin Davis was on an episode of friends. It’s the one with Ross’ library book!"

One fan commented: "It’s funny, her character is very un-Charlotte"

Others discussed other cameos the actress has made, with one user writing "she was in Seinfeld too!"

While another posted: "She was also on an episode of Will and Grace."

Kristin isn't the only Sex and the City star to appear in Friends. Her on-screen husband, Evan Handler also appeared in an episode of the popular show.

The actor, who plays Charlotte's husband Harry, appears as a TV direction in the episode 'The One Where Rachel Goes Back to Work'.

While fans are certainly excited about these cameos it does make on thing clear, these shows clearly do not take part in a shared universe of NBC shows.
