Viewers who were tuned in to The Bachelor this week were horrified to see how Shanae responded after learning that fellow contestant Elizabeth had ADHD.
Fans could tell that Shanae Ankney wasn't the biggest fan of fellow contestant Elizabeth Corrigan, but nobody expected the harsh reaction she gave when Elizabeth disclosed her ADHD diagnosis.
Watch the drama unfold here:
It all kicked off on Monday night when contestant Shanae used her time with this season's bachelor Clayton Echard to point out the other women's "red flags."
Elizabeth, in particular, is outraged when she learns that Shanae has been taking digs at her behind her back.
When the two girls got together to hash things out, Shanae explained that she had a problem with Elizabeth's mannerisms, such as avoiding eye contact and giving off a "mean girl vibe."
In response, Elizabeth, 32, explained that she has ADHD and often struggles to process information clearly when she has multiple auditory influences and apologised if it came across wrong.
Shanae, 29, continued on her rampage, though, arguing that Elizabeth's behaviour was "two-faced."
Later in the episode, Shanae brought up Elizabeth's ADHD diagnosis in front of the other girls.
When none of the other contestants wanted to back Shanae up (shocker!), she stormed off and muttered to herself: "ADHD my a**."
Viewers were outraged over Shanae's behaviour, eager to call her out on Twitter after watching the infuriating scene.
One tweeted: "Elizabeth wasn’t telling shanae she has ADHD as a sob story, she was trying to explain her [behaviour] which shanae interpreted as 'rude.' this is so inappropriate what #TheBachelor."
Another fan commented: "Honestly kudos to Elizabeth for handling Shanae. This girl is clearly unstable. In one ear out the other. She’s playing the victim card very hard. #TheBachelor"
A third viewer wrote: 'SHANAE TRIED TO GET THE GIRLS TO BACK HER UP AFTER BLURTING OUT THAT ELIZABETH HAS ADHD. IM FUMING."
Fans of the series who also have ADHD were also understandably upset over Shanae's reaction.
"What does Shanae have against people with ADHD??" asked one fan.
"If this b*tch Shanae ever came up to me making fun of my ADHD I would ROCK her," commented another.
