In the space of a few days, some fans have already torn through the entire new season, but were left speechless when they made it to the end.
Fans were sure that Jack (Martin Henderson) was the father of Charmaine's (Lauren Hammersley) unborn twins, but it turns out there was another man on the scene.
It all came out in the season finale when Charmaine fell ill at her and Todd's (Patrick Sabongui) home, and called for help when she started struggling to breathe.

When her ex-boyfriend and supposed father of her children Jack arrived to help, he assured Charmaine that an ambulance was on the way.
Worried that she was going to lose her babies, Charmaine felt compelled to spill the truth once and for all.
"This is karma, I’m being punished", she told Jack after collapsing on the floor.
"It's because I lied. The twins... they're not your babies."

Fans were left just as gobsmacked as Jack looked when the cliffhanger episode came to an end.
Taking to Twitter after the unbelievable season finale, one horrified fan tweeted: "I can’t believe Charmaine lied about the twins being Jack’s babies".
"I swear, if Jack carries on helping Charmaine after this..." wrote a second.
And a third added: "That was a real low blow of Charmaine. Not Jack's babies! WTF"
Shellshocked viewers will now have to wait until season five drops to find out who the real father is.

However, some eagle-eyed fans suspect that they might already know the answer.
"I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again 'MIKE IS THE FATHER OF CHARMAINES TWINS!!'" one tweet reads.
"I mean, obviously Mike is the father of the insufferable Charmaine’s babies, right?" asked another.
Fans have had their eye on Mike (Marco Grazzini) as the father since season one, when he seemed less than thrilled to hear that Jack was the father of Charmaine's babies.

Mike added even further evidence to the case in the season four finale, when he spoke to Preacher (Colin Lawrence).
In a throwaway comment, Mike revealed that he was in Eureka when Preacher called him - a town where Charmaine and Todd share a second home.
Why was Mike in Eureka? Was it to set the record straight with Todd and Charmaine about the twins? Does he know more than he's letting on?
We'll have to wait until season five drops to find out.
Seasons one to four of Virgin River are available to stream on Netflix.
