People are calling out Alec and Hilaria Baldwin after learning what they've decided to name their seventh child.
The couple announced on Saturday (24 September) that they had welcomed a baby girl and, although some fans were happy for the growing family, not everyone was impressed.
It all sparks from Hilaria's heritage. In case you missed it, the mum-of-seven was the centre of some serious controversy back in 2020, when it emerged that she was actually from Boston, not Spain, her parents and extended family are all American, and she previously went by Hilary, rather than Hilaria.

The yoga instructor and author was even accused of faking her Spanish accent and, in one particularly bizarre incident, Hilaria even claimed to have forgotten the English word for cucumber.
It was during a cooking segment for The Today Show, while she was teaching viewers at home how to make gazpacho, when she said: "We have very few ingredients - we have tomatoes, we have, um, how do you say in English? Cucumber!" You have to admit, it's a pretty strange thing to forget when you were born and raised in the US.
Last year Hilaria described herself in an Instagram post as 'multi' and culturally 'fluid', which naturally sparked even further uproar.
Now people are angry all over again, after Hilaria and Alec announced that their newborn daughter would be named Ilaria Catalina Irena.

One irritated fan tweeted: "Ilaria Catalina Irena"..I guess #hilariabaldwin is still staying true to her Spanish roots that don't exist because she's WHITE. I mean, seriously?! Is this her honouring #HispanicHeritageMonth or something?"
A second complained: "Hilaria & Alec Baldwin had their 7th child. Not one American name, not even a middle name."
And a third added: "Alec Baldwin’s wife faking being Spanish is so crazy. Changing her name from Hillary to Hilaria, naming all 7 of their kids with those roots, pretending to forget the English word for ‘cucumber’, faking an accent. she should’ve changed her name to hilarious instead."
In late 2020, Hilaria responded to allegations that she had created her own Spanish heritage, telling the New York Times that she had only forgotten the name for a cucumber because she was nervous for the live TV appearance. She also insisted that she went by Hilaria now, rather than Hilary, because that's what her Spanish family call her.

She explained: "The things I have shared about myself are very clear. I was born in Boston. I spent time in Boston and in Spain. My family now lives in Spain."
Hilaria and Alec got married in June 2012 and they share seven children together; Carmen Gabriela, eight; Rafael Thomas, seven; Leonardo Angel Charles, five; Romeo Alejandro David, four; Eduardo Pao Lucas, 23 months, and Maria Lucia Victoria, 18 months.
