Ne-Yo has left people seriously baffled over the name he uses to refer to his four girlfriends in a polyamorous relationship.
Early last month (8 March), the American singer took to Instagram to official announce to his 4.7 million followers exactly who was involved in his polyamorous relationship.
Sharing a series of snaps and videos to a carousel, the 45-year-old 'Miss Independent' star captioned the post: "Since the world is so intrigued, I guess I should introduce my loves properly."

He then revealed: "LADIES AND GENTS I PRESENT MY PYRAMID."
Presumably, this is because each of the four women represent the four points on the square base of a pyramid which, by default, puts him at the top in the fifth point of the 3D shape.
Ne-Yo then tagged each of the four women along with their nicknames which included Cristina (Pretty Baby), Arielle (Twin Flame), Moneii (Phoenix Feather) and Bri (Sexy Lil’ Somethin’).

"Say something nice or move on with your life," he rounded off the caption with. "We happy over here."
He's also opened up about the one rule all four woman have to follow.
After catching light of the fact that Ne-Yo dubs his relationship with the four women his 'pyramid', it's clear that people couldn't wait to share their thoughts as one social media user hit out: "Imagine being called the BASE of a pyramid for NE-YO."
"Ne-Yo calling them women his 'pyramid'," penned another, alongside a sick face emoji.

Ne-Yo shares children from previous relationships with three women.
The singer (real name Shaffer Chimere Smith) shares his two eldest kids - a 14-year-old daughter, Madilyn, and a son named Mason, 13 - with ex-fiancée Monyetta Shaw-Carter, from whom he split in 2013.
He also fathered three children - Shaffer, nine, Roman, six, and Isabella, three - from his relationship with ex-wife, Crystal Renay.

And lastly, the musician shares his youngest two - Braiden, three, and Brixton, two - with former flame and social media influencer Sade Jenea Bagnerise.
Explaining how he broaches the subject of his unconventional romantic endeavours with his children, he told listeners that honesty is the best policy.
"I’m not lying to anybody, not even my children," he began.
"Like, 'Hey this is daddy’s girlfriend, and so is that, and so is that, and so is that'."
Adding that his various partners do play a parental role in bringing up his seven children, he said of the group: "She’s going to make you some cereal, and she’s going to cook lunch, and she’s going wash clothes, and it’s all good.
"It’s family. It’s community."
