Calista Flockhart is being praised for re-wearing the Ralph Lauren skirt she wore 24 years ago.
The Ally McBeal star, 58, walked the red carpet at the Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny premiere this week.
Flockhart was there to support her husband, Harrison Ford, 80, and she seemingly made a big statement about the benefits of recycling old fashion looks.

Gone are the days of buying a brand new outfit for each event and considering the fact that 97 percent of clothing eventually ends up in a landfill and 60 percent does so within a year of being manufactured, according to McKinsey, returning to garments we already have is a fabulous thing to do for the environment, too.
On Wednesday (14 June), Calista appeared on the red carpet wearing the same Ralph Lauren skirt. She wore the skirt for the first time at the 1999 Emmy Awards, almost 24 years ago. She was nominated for her titular role in the acclaimed legal comedy-drama Ally McBeal at the time.
The mum-of-one paired her floor-length yellow skirt with a tied-up white shirt. This time around, Calista wore a black cold shoulder top with mid-length sleeves.

Both the original look and the remix for the Indiana Jones premiere were styled by Elizabeth Stewart. The Supergirl star's longtime stylist posted about the new old look on Instagram. “#CalistaFlockhart heading to the Los Angeles premiere of #IndianaJones in the same golden yellow @ralphlauren skirt she wore to the Emmys in 1999!” Elizabeth wrote in the caption accompanying her post.
“Cherish and rewear your clothes people! (and yes we’ve worked together that long!) @heathercurriebeauty @enzoangileri @jordan_grossman,” she continued.
Social media users are hoping this is a sign that more celebrities will re-wear their clothes, especially since we all do it.

The praise continued on Twitter, with on commenter writing: “Thank you for recycling, reusing and renewing, Ms. Flockhart! Always have been a fan, always will, especially since you work hard to reduce your carbon footprint! Tired of seeing celebs doing whatever TF they want and hurting Mother Earth!”
“Still looks great too,” someone else tweeted.
“Better now!!” another fan gushed.
We love this!
