People are flooding to social media in support of Chrissy Teigen for her honest post on body image.

People are flooding to social media in support of Chrissy Teigen for her honest post on body image.

Teigen gave birth to her fourth child, with singer John Legend, on Friday, 13 January, 2023.

Like their other children, Luna, Miles and Jack - Jack who sadly passed away at 20 weeks - the pair's rainbow baby, Esti Maxine Stephens, was conceived via IVF.

A couple of months after giving birth, model and TV personality Teigen, has shared an image of herself and her youngest, opening up about the changes she's noticed in her body since giving birth.

Teigen uploaded a photograph to Instagram of her cradling her newborn daughter naked in a bath.

The caption reads: "A boob that somehow hangs all along my side and deep purple lifetime scars but you are too perfect to worry about any of it !"

Teigen's followers have been quick to leap to the post in support of her honest words reflecting on the changes that have happened to her body, since Esti came into the world.

One Instagram user wrote: "Our changing bodies remind us of the life we created. It reminds us of all we have."

Another commented: "Thank you for being brave (though it shouldn’t be brave) enough to post such real photos. I think there’s a dysmorphia that is happening because everything is so filtered and contrived. This is just what people look like when we take down the veil. There is beauty in real. And in knowing that we sacrifice to make these beautiful little people. Our bodies are meant to be lived in!"

"Thank you for this picture! Second time mama with a 3 month old and I feel like I don’t recognize this body. Bounce back culture is causing me to have a lot of self disapproval and to see a celeb with all the resources in the world show such a real pic makes me feel like I’m right where I need to be," a third said.

A final wrote: "Thanks for always keeping it real."

Indeed, Teigen has used her social media on many occasions before to open up about her relationship with her body.

Earlier this year she shared an image of herself in a dress stained with breast milk, captioning the picture: "On my way! to bandage together both my wound and 3.8 second clips of Beyonce performing in Dubai until I get a full hbo special."

Many users flocked to the image commending the mum for being 'so real' about motherhood and postpartum, and it's clear Teigen is continuing the realness.
