As I'm sure many in their twenties are aware, it is supposed to be the time of your life where you try new things and have fun while you don't have the pressures of kids and a mortgage that could come later on life.
I'm sure many of the older generation look back at their younger years with fond memories but perhaps some regret, too.
While Christina Aguilera is not part of the older generation just yet, she has been looking back at her younger self, and in particular her twenties.

The pop star certainly had this sexualised persona in the early years of her career, and has admitted that she actually lost her virginity a lot later than many would think.
During a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Aguilera opened up about her sex life.
"It's so funny that I gave this persona because I probably was the last person to lose my virginity," the singer said.

"It was something that was for me. I guess that's why my messages went the way they did too because I owned it first, maybe."
Podcast host Alex Cooper then pushed Aguilera on a specific age when she lost her virginity, though the singer was keeping her cards kept well and truly close to her chest.
"It was later than you would think, given the girl that was doing 'Dirrty' and all this stuff. It's more of a funny thing looking back," she said.
While Aguilera wasn't too keen on revealing the age, she did actually speak about some of her earlier sexual experiences.

She explained: "I had certain dancers that were close. You're traveling a lot and you have accessibility to only certain things.
"It is what it is... A lot of things where I'm like, 'Maybe I should have realised, he wasn't looking at me. He wasn't interested in me. He was looking at him'.
"A lot of things where I'm like, 'Oh, sad!' I feel bad for my younger self."

Aguilera has been engaged to production assistant Matthew Rutler since 2014, though she said that dating within the entertainment industry never appealed to her due to the hectic schedules many people face.
"My life is hectic enough, and this is a very narcissistic industry. My anxieties couldn't maybe take somebody that did the exact same thing I did," she said.
