Right ahead of their monumental semi-final victory this week, football legend David Beckham took the opportunity to thank the England women's team for 'inspiring' his daughter.
The Lionesses have now secured their place in the sold-out Euro 2022 final in Wembley Stadium this Sunday, 31 July, after defeating Sweden 4-0 on Tuesday night.
Wishing the team the best of luck ahead of the phenomenal semi-final match, former England men's team captain David Beckham took to Instagram, and shared that his daughter Harper, 11, was particularly excited to cheer them on. Watch here:
Following the ladies' exceptional win on Tuesday, David took to Instagram once more, sharing a photo of the victorious team and writing: "What a night. Congratulations to the girls."

He followed it up with his 'favourite picture on a special night' of forward player Rachel Daly celebrating the win on the pitch wearing a cowboy hat.
Ahead of England's victory, David noted in a video message to the team that watching them play so far has been 'so uplifting, it's been so exciting, and it's been so inspiring.'
He shared: "For me, personally, I have a daughter so for her to be inspired by you girls and your performances has been incredible.

"But it's not just the girls that are getting inspired; the boys are getting inspired as well by this. And we all know that when big tournaments come around, our country and our fans get behind us like no other."
Cheering them on ahead of their semi-final match, he concluded: "We're all behind you, we're all excited to see it. And I know that there's one person that is really excited to see it, and that is my daughter Harper, so thank you for inspiring her, and good luck, girls.
David wasn't the only notable England fan who congratulated the Lionesses on their win this week.
England men's captain Harry Kane was full of praise for the team, taking to Twitter to celebrate.
Meanwhile, Prince William, who is president of the Football Association, took to the Kensington Royal Twitter account to offer his congratulations, writing: "The entire country is so proud of everything you're achieving. We believe in you and will be with you all the way!"
The Lionesses are set to go up against either France or Germany in this weekend's final, but commenting on the upcoming match, coach Sarina Wingman said she was confident in the ladies either way.
