Geordie Shore star Gary Beadle has shared an update about his wife Emma, after doctors found three holes in her heart.
Emma McVey, 30, began to lose weight while breastfeeding after her first pregnancy with five-year-old Chester.
Blood tests later revealed she had three holes in her heart, dating back to her childhood, and she was fitted with a heart monitor while she waited for surgery.

McVey, who is also mum to Primrose, two, has now had the holes ‘fixed’ and is recovering while hubby Gaz ‘holds down the fort at home’.
Ahead of the procedure, Beadle, 34, wrote on Instagram: “Very hard very stressful very emotional day. Crazy what life throws at you sometimes.
“Big day for our family tomorrow.”

“She is awake and in recovery... in a lot of pain but talking and good.
“Now it’s about recovery and making sure she gets back to full fitness over the next few months.
“Thank you to everyone who has been messaging.”
McVey is expected to take three months to recover from the hospital visit, but Beadle made it clear she will have his full support.

He expressed how proud he was of his wife in a heartfelt post, saying they would get through the process as a family.
“You know what shout out to all the mums, honestly Emma was literally waiting to go in at 7am this morning,” he said.
“After we dropped her last night, and her only worry was the kids were ok and that they had found their treasure hunt surprises which she has planned every day for them.

“Mums are built different, nothing else matters, as long as their kids are happy.
“I will hold the fort and update you all soon as I hear from the doctors that all has gone well.
“Going to be a hard two to three month recovery but we got this as a family… thanks again for all the messages.”
