Gwen Stefani fans have claimed that they're shocked by the appearance of the singer in a new interview.
The 'Don't Speak' hitmaker, 52, recently appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers to promote The Voice, but it was her appearance that got fans talking. Watch the interview here:
The interview began with Seth pointing out that Stefani has been a judge on The Voice for a number of seasons now, but her last season saw her finally emerge victorious.

This is because she ended up mentoring winner Carter Rubin, 16, who was also the youngest ever male winner of the show.
While she said that it was Rubin who won, she did acknowledge that it was satisfying to have played an important role in his journey.
The singer wore her hair long and straightened for the interview and paired it with a revealing, partial fishnet outfit.

However, fans took to social media to say that they hardly recognised the star.
One wrote: "I didn't even notice who she was. I was like no that's not her and I looked up recent videos of her. Yeah... That's really Gwen. Please stop. No more surgeries."
"Gwen Stefani?" questioned a second. "Even when I know it's her, I don't recognise her…"
"Gwen is naturally beautiful. She didn't need all those filler/injections," wrote a third while a fourth added: "I'm convinced this must be a clone or something cause that ain't the Gwen Stefani I know."

But, not everyone was so critical of Stefani's appearance and one fan slammed the haters as 'jealous'.
They wrote: "You hypocrites wish you looked as good as she does.
"You are comparing her looks now to when she started. No one stays the same & all do something to look young. Actually, she is 52 & looks incredible, which i can guarantee that most at 25 don't even come close. Jealousy & envy… [sic]."

The 'Hollaback Girl' singer had previously opened up about aging to New York Times, describing it as a 'natural thing'.
She said: "In nature, you see it all the time. We're just born to die. You can think of it like it's a tragedy… but you're finding what is the truth, what is important."
As reported by Hello! Magazine, she praised the power of makeup to Roma's magazine and how it can help 'change who you are'.
"I just want to look as good as I can at any age, like we all do, and share that quality makeup truly does make a big difference in how you feel," she admitted.

"You can always change who you are, make yourself feel better, or make other people feel better with makeup. Makeup is just the perfect playground for that."
