Gregg's sausage rolls are a British classic, and now Canadian actor Ryan Gosling has had a chance to see what all the fuss is about.
The actor recently appeared on an episode of LadBible's 'Snack Wars' that featured him tucking into a variety of snacks including the almighty Gregg's sausage roll. Watch below:
The classic British staple was presented to The Notebook actor alongside pancakes and maple syrup, which are a Canadian favourite, and he had to decide which one reigned supreme.

"I feel like I'm on The Great British Bake Off," Gosling said as he smelled the sausage roll. "Woah," he went on to say. "Is that sausage?"
He then had it confirmed that it was, indeed, sausage inside the sausage roll.
"It's like a fancy hot dog," he said. "It's like a hot dog in a tuxedo."
The actor went on to take a bite and clap his hands, before picking a favourite by a 'landslide' in the video above.

Gosling also got to try a Scottish classic as part of the episode, Tunnock's Teacakes, but he couldn't help but ask, "Where's the tea?" when presented with the snack.
"Is it supposed to go with tea?" he asked. "Is that part of its charm? It seems like it's pretty vital."
He said he was 'liking that part of it' as he squashed the thin chocolate layer above the marshmallow, and said, 'This is fun' before eventually trying the treat itself.

He really enjoyed the teacake, declaring: "You can destroy it and then enjoy it."
Gosling's appearance on Snack Wars comes after the actor recently revealed the one dish that he'd happily eat 'for the rest of his life'.
He made the revelation in an interview with Netflix Latin America, saying: "If I had to eat one dish for the rest of my life, it would be Eva’s mom's Arroz con leche."
"It's like an angel crying on your tongue," he explained.

The actor is, of course, referring to the mother of his wife, Hollywood star Eva Mendes.
So what exactly is it?
As reported by The Independent, Arroz con leche - which is also known as Mexican rice pudding - is made of rice, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and raisins.

Gosling has been doing a lot of interviews recently to promote his new film The Gray Man, which dropped on Netflix on July 22.
It's synopsis reads: "When the CIA's most skilled operative-whose true identity is known to none-accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, a psychopathic former colleague puts a bounty on his head, setting off a global manhunt by international assassins."
