Listen, we'll be the first to admit we've zoned out in our fair share of Zoom calls to answer a text or do a quick Insta-scroll. But we're hoping that we've been doing it a little bit more discreetly than Jennifer Lawrence and Ariana Grande.
The two stars were taking part in a lengthy virtual interview for their hit Netflix film Don't Look Up when their eyes started drifting down to their mobiles.
Watch a clip from the interview here:
While cast members like Jonah Hill, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Meryl Streep were busy discussing the making of Don't Look Up, JLaw and Ariana definitely zoned out at least once or twice - though for a 45 minute interview, can you blame them?
The two actresses would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for their eagle-eyed fans.
Analysing the interview, viewers couldn't help but notice Jen and Ari's eyes darting down every so often, trying to suppress their giggles.
Of course, there's every chance that the pair were texting different people, but we'd like to live in a world where they are besties and secretly text each other during work calls. And it looks like fans agree!
Watching a clip from the interview, one viewer commented: "The friendship I didn’t know I needed."
"Me and my work bestie texting during staff meetings," wrote another.
Some fans guessed that, if Jen and Ari were texting each other, they were probably having some conversations they'd rather keep private.
"They were definitely talking sh*t 😂" wrote one fan.
Another commented: "Probably talking smack lol"
Whatever they were talking about, we can all strongly relate to this after almost two full years of Zoom calls.
One amused viewer commented: "Me asking my friend during lecture whats going on."
Another wrote: "literally me and my friends during first lockdown."
Fingers crossed we see more of this friendship in 2022 - let's be honest, it would be iconic.
