Katie Price has announced she has launched an 'investigation' after her protection dog Blade was killed.
On Monday (5 June), Price announced her black German Shepard was hit by a car and later found on the side of the road.
In an Instagram post, Price said she was left 'numb and shocked' after her protection dog died following the incident.

Sharing the sad news with her 2.6 million followers, Price wrote: "Words [sic] can’t express the lost of my best friend my protector my absolutely everything who had sadly passed away today.
"I have no words to say how I’m feeling but numb and shocked rip Blade."
Earlier on in the day, Grove Lodge Veterinary Group, based in Worthing, alerted the public to the incident.
Taking to their official Facebook page, the vet posted: "Unfortunately we have had a large shepherd dog handed into our OOH team last night.

"Found on the A24 near dial post. The dog does not have a microchip, however was wearing a brown Louis Vuitton collar," per LBC.
Now, Price has taken to Instagram once more to confirm she has launched an 'investigation' into the death of Blade.
On an Instagram story, the former glamour model wrote: "Somebody has killed my dog on purpose as a attack against me, I'm investigating."

She referenced it once more in an Instagram post, adding: "Extensions out ready for new transformation literally had so much s**t thrown at me and being single now and now dealing with the suspicions my dog had been killed deliberately so being investigated I need a massive change and move in my life."
Blade's death comes just seven months after another one of the model's dogs was killed on the same road.
Sharon, a Pomeranian, was also found on the A24 and subsequently taken to Arun Vets in Pulborough, West Sussex.

But Sharon was later confirmed to have died - in one of many animal tragedies Price has gone through in her lifetime.
Five other animals belonging to Price have also died within recent years - starting with a horse back in 2017 who allegedly passed away after being hit by a motor.
Queenie - an Alsatian - died just a year later in 2018 after being hit by a delivery driver.
The social media star also lost a chameleon called Marvin, another Alsatian named Sparkle, and a French Bulldog pup called Rolo.

As a result, a petition was launched in 2020 calling for Price to be banned from owning animals - a petition that gained over 31,000 signatures.
