Katy Perry was booed by fans after she slated a contestant's outfit during a recent episode of American Idol.
It looks like the popstar's every move is under the microscope at the minute following the controversy around her comments to American Idol contestant Sara Beth Liebe recently.
And in a first ever for the reality show, the 'Teenage Dreams' singer was booed by the audience. Check it out:
During Monday's (17 April) show, Nutsa took to the stage as she looked to make it through to the next round.

Now, while the usual way of things is for the judges to critique the singer's performance, Perry leaned into her current villain status.
Despite belting out an impressive rendition of 'Paris (Ooh La La)' by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Perry took aim at the 25-year-old's choice of clothes.
Once the performance ended, Perry commented: "Nutsa, every time you take the stage, it's like you glitter bomb the stage.
"Listen, I think one thing I personally would like to see from you is not one piece of glitter the next time. I know that's gonna be hard."

And those watching on were having none of it.
It quickly became clear that the audience were not on her side, and made their feelings known, with a wave of boos ringing out.
Shocked by the reaction, fellow judge Lionel Ritchie gasped: "Whoa, hostility!"

While Luke Bryan thought it was hilarious, remarking: "Yes! Katy got booed. Katy got booed."
Perry then quickly tried to get them back on side, saying she was just being constructive.
“OK, first time in six seasons, woo-hoo!” she said. "But what I’m saying is that, I’d like you to flip the script.
"I think we want to be pulled in by our hearts too. I’d love to see that, and I think America might too."

This comes after Liebe quit the show after 'hurtful' comments Perry made about her being a mum.
Following her performance at Hollywood Week, the 25-year-old told one of the producers backstage: "I feel like I’m not gonna win the show anyway, so I might as well go home.”
After hearing the news, Perry brought the singer back out on stage, telling her that she thought she was really talented, and urged her to not give up.

She said: "I know you love your family, your kids; I know that as a mother. But self-love is just as big as motherly love. Don’t leave the competition.”
And despite finding out that she had been put through, Liebe said: "I still kind of want to get home. I am sure when I get home, I will regret it and be like, ‘Man, you should have stayed'."
