Harington, most known for his iconic role of Jon Snow in the hit fantasy-drama series Game of Thrones, coupled up with fellow Thrones co-star Rose Leslie who played Ygritte, with the pair officially tying the knot back in 2018.
Since then, the two have welcomed a lovely son.
During last night's [February 3] airing of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Harington revealed a very cute moment shared between the family.
Talking about his son getting the exciting news, Harington said: "He is about the get the shock of his life, which is that he's about to get a brother or sister."

Admitting to the differences between your first and second child, the 36-year-old added: "You know with the first baby, you're like, walking on clouds and dancing through fields and daisies for nine months?
"Well, the man is anyway."
"This time," he added, "the reality check comes much shorter and you get practical, like, real quick."

Opening up about the process of explaining to their son a concept of a new arrival to the family, Harington noted that his child
"doesn't quite conceptually understand it just yet".
Using his wife Rose's belly as somewhat of an explaining tool, Harington added: "We are trying to get him ready for it and we point at Rose's belly and we say, 'Mummy's baby, mummy's baby', and he points at his tummy and goes, 'My baby, my baby.'"
Both Rose and Kit have been fairly private about their family life and have not yet announced much information about their first child, including his name and when exactly he was born.

However, Harington has been fairly open about how he's been handling fatherhood so far.
The actor called the new chapter 'draining' and talked about how 'exhausting' it was.
He said: "Honestly, my back is wrecked. I go to the gym quite a bit, but there's something about having a child that is the most physically draining thing."

Comparing his role as a father to his role as Jon Snow, the 36-year-old added: "It's more exhausting than everything I did on Thrones."
While parenthood is sometimes trying, it's clear that Harington's son's adorable reaction more than makes up for it.
