Discussing her kids' sleeping habits on the podcast, Not Skinny But Not Fat, Kourt told host Amanda Hirsch about her close relationship with her mini-me daughter.
“She’s slept with me every day since she was born and pretty much still does,” she said.
“Unless she has a friend sleep over or unless she leaves me to go sleep at Travis’ or Auntie Coco’s [Khloé Kardashian] or Auntie Kiki’s [Kim Kardashian]. But besides that, we are so close.”
Discussing their bond, Kourtney added: “I can’t even explain it, she is my girl that I do not worry about.

“Simon [Kourtney’s friend] always says she’s a mini-me, to her core.
"But we’ve spent so much time together and spend so much time together. And I just don’t worry about her.”
Kourtney also co-slept with her eldest child Mason, 12. In a blog post written in 2018, Kourtney explained she had a different sleeping experience with all three of her children, explaining that she practised 'responsible joint sleeping' with Mason.

“I remember going through times of trying to get him to sleep in his own bed. Many nights he would start off in his room and make his way into ours,” she wrote.
“I eventually embraced a family bed and followed his lead for when he was ready to sleep in his room. When he was seven, he started sleeping in his room on his own.”
As well as Mason and Penelope, Kourtney is also mum to Reign, seven. Kourtney shares her three children with ex partner Scott Disick.

Last month, Kourtney divided fans' opinions after revealing details about her children’s diet, explaining that Mason has not been allowed to eat fries for an entire year.
“I was having my one-on-one time with my son [Mason] and he said. ‘Mom I need McDonald’s French fries today, please. It’s been a year since I’ve had it'. I was like, ‘Today’s not the day, sorry',” she told WSJ Magazine.
In the same interview she said Mason had inspired her to start her wellness journey.
“When I had Mason is when I really started my wellness journey. He’s very smart. He’ll tell me, ‘A person was bad because they let me have Cheetos'," she said.
