Love Island fans have been scratching their heads over a bizarre clip of former contestant Curtis Pritchard.
The dancer turned reality star, 26, rose to fame on the dating show in 2019 after his famously doomed romance with Amy Hart and his more successful liaison with Maura Higgins.
In the video, he could be seen wearing what looked like a pea costume as he leapt on stage to take a shot with people dressed as Super Mario characters.

The footage was captioned: "Full time ick, part time pea [sic]."
And social media users didn't know what to make of what they had just seen.
One user wrote: "how did this man pull maura [sic]."
"I have never seen someone run with their arms straight," added a second while a third wrote: "I just get so embarrassed for him!!!"

"What is this tho. Like there's so much going on what am I watching [sic]," questioned a fourth.
"I can't with him, he’s got to be going through something [sic]," remarked a fifth.
The clip comes after Curtis' Love Island ex Amy announced today that she is pregnant with her first child.

She made the exciting announcement on Loose Women following a whirlwind romance with boyfriend Sam Rason, who she began dating last August.
Referencing the fact that she'd documented her fertility MOT and subsequent egg freezing on the show, Amy said: "I felt the only place to announce that I'm pregnant is Loose Women!"
The former air hostess added: "It was very unexpected, we weren't going to start trying until next year… I had my 30th completely sober - Amesfest. Stacey's sister made me a cup so no one could see what I was drinking and everyone kept coming up to me and saying, 'You don’t seem very drunk?'

"And I said to my best friend, 'People are beginning to ask' and she said, 'Well, you're going to have to do something then!' So the Abba tribute band was playing Lay All Your Love On Me and I started crawling across the dancefloor, and nobody asked again!"
Amy then shared more snaps of herself and Sam celebrating the happy news on Instagram, where she revealed that she is due next March.
Alongside happy snaps of them posing with their baby scans, she wrote: "Interestingly enough, we got pregnant unexpectedly because the app that was telling us the fertile window was SO out.

"So much so that if we’d started trying in January as planned we probably wouldn’t have fallen pregnant as we would have been nowhere near the ovulation days!
"We were told earlier this year that if we hadn't fallen pregnant within 6 months of starting trying, it would be straight to IVF. Life has a funny way eh!!"
