Love Island’s Gemma Owen and Luca Bish have split up.
I know, we all thought, hoped, dreamed that it was a love that would last forever, but alas, we were wrong.

Owen confirmed the tragic news in a post to her Instagram stories.
She wrote: "To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship.
"It wasn't an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for both of us right now.
"Many of you have been on this journey with us from the very beginning, and I wanted to thank you for your continued support as we start new chapters."

Since she made the devastating announcement, some of the 19-year-old's fans have come out to show their support through this difficult time.
Commenting on her most recent post, one follower said: "Sorry about u and Luca x."
Owen, who is the daughter of ex-England international Michael Owen, recently opened up to Tyla about her relationship with Luca.

She said: "I think at the moment, we're just taking it as it comes day by day, you know? Not much pressure.
“I think we'd probably like to get on a holiday by the end of the year, which is something that we're both really looking forward to."
On finding time for each other, Gemma said she and Luca considered themselves 'really lucky.'
"We have managed to find time for each other in our busy schedules", she said.

"Whenever we have a free day, or a free weekend, he's either up in Cheshire or I'm down in Brighton with him and his family so we’re managing to make it work. I'm happy with how it's going."
It was only a matter of days before Luca set his sights on Gemma in the Love Island villa, and it wasn't long before the pair only had eyes for each other. But, as couples do, the two had their share of outbursts and arguments.
No doubt incidents like the infamous Mile High Club game and Mad Movies night were tough to relive after making it out the other side.

Although Gemma said previously that she hadn't yet watched it all back, 'purely because there was not enough time to sit down and watch seven week's worth', she did catch some of the stand out moments she remembers from her time on the show.
"I think everything on the show - how I handled situations in there, I would have handled the same on the outside", she said.
“I don't think I was anything other than myself. I think I kept it sort of really real to how I would on the outside.”
It's no wonder the reality star hadn't had time to go back and watch the entire series yet - especially since she just signed a brand deal with PrettyLittleThing.
"I think going into Love Island, I didn't expect anything. I think I just went in there with an open mind to everything.
"I'm really grateful for the opportunities that have been presented to me from coming off the show."
