Love Island star Malin Andersson has given birth.
Malin, 29, confirmed today she welcomed a baby girl with partner Jared last friday.
She said the couple are 'completely in love' with their new arrival, whose name has not been announced.
Malin confirmed the incredible news in a statement to Mail Online.
"We are super excited to share that Malin gave birth to a healthy baby girl last Friday 28th January on her due date," Malin's representative told Mail Online.
They added: "She and her partner are completely in love and are taking this time as a family to enjoy the baby bubble but she can't wait to share more with everyone soon."
In August 2021 Malin announced she was expecting on Instagram, describing her pregnancy as her “new beginning and a happy ending”.
“Everything I’ve ever wanted, everything I visualised. A solid partner in my life, who has been there in the background - witnessed my life over the past four years and has stuck by me as a friend.. and now a lover. This couldn’t feel any more right - and we’re now bringing a beautiful soul into this world,” Malin wrote.
“My heart feels electric writing this, my eyes tearing up.. because I can promise you all there was once upon a time I never thought I could experience this. I was wrong. It just wasn’t the right time. All the pain I’ve endured has led to this very moment.. my own little family.”
She then paid tribute to her late mother and baby daughter Consy, who tragically died in January 2019 after she was born seven weeks premature.
“Mumma - I know you’re looking down with bright eyes and a big smile,” Marlin wrote. “Baby Consy - protect us from above.”
Malin's new arrival was born three years after the death of her baby Consy, at just four-and-a-half weeks old in 2019.
The reality TV star documented Consy's life on Instagram and shared pictures as she received treatment.
