As always, the long-awaited Met Gala hosted a whole night of statement, out-there and even questionable looks last night.
From Blake Lively's incredible outfit change to Kim Kardashian's controversial choice to wear Marilyn Monroe's iconic sparkly dress - there have definitely been more than a few head-turning looks of the evening.
However, the one outfit everyone is currently talking about is none other than Nicki Minaj's all-black ensemble.
During an interview with Vogue on the Met Gala red carpet, the award-winning rapper can be seen with her hands crossed over her chest and arms as she discusses the rundown of her outfit designed by Burberry’s Ricardo Tisci.

The official Burberry Instagram page detailed the look posting: "Nicki Minaj is wearing a custom tiered tulle gown with ruffle and feather details and a belted harness over faux-leather pantaboots with a reconstructed baseball cap."
"I love the hat," the 39-year-old rapper details, "I'm obsessed with the hat. I didn't want to do the look if I couldn't do the hat."
Interestingly, Minaj's casual hat and fancy dress ensemble wasn't the only one at the Met Gala this year.

Kylie Jenner could also be seen sporting a backwards white snapback with a vintage-look wedding dress at the much-anticipated event too.
As the interview continues, Nicki begins to unfold her arms from her chest until she realises the slight wardrobe malfunction with her bust and immediately says, "Oh gosh. Don't show my..." as she trails off.
Minaj continues, "The only unplanned thing about my look is my boobs popping out."

Grabbing the mic, the rapper explains the situation further: "Because they made my cup size a little small."
But, in typical charming Minaj fashion, she concluded the interview shortly but sweetly: "Enjoy these t****** because y'all ain't going to see them ever again."
Even with the awkward wardrobe malfunction, the Superbass rapper still had her loyal fans to fall back on and support her brave outfit choice, with over 1.2 million likes on her latest Instagram post so far.

With a whole face and body bedazzled with jewels, a halo-style headband attached to a cap, a dramatic tiered gown and what looks like one of the world's chunkiest belts ever - it's fair to say people will be talking about Miss. Minaj's look for a long, long time.
