Paul Mescal fans were left buzzing for the actor this week when it was announced that he had been nominated for an Oscar for his role in father-daughter drama, Aftersun.
Mega fans will know that Paul, 26, shot to fame after his appearance as Connell Waldron in BBC adaptation Normal People. But super mega fans are remembering even further back, when the actor appeared in a TV advert for Denny's sausages in 2018.
You can watch the iconic ad below:
In the video, Paul appears in an advert for Denny - an Irish brand that sells bacon, sausages, ham and other fresh produce.

He can be seen sitting around the breakfast table with his on-screen mum and dad. His dad is talking about Henry Denny (who is the founder of the company) inventing the bacon rasher, and goes on to explain how his sons travelled the world teaching others how to do the same.
Paul is pretending to be listening and doesn't seem that fussed. But all of a sudden, he bites into a Denny sausage and everything changes. As the slogan of the ad describes, he decides to 'seize the Denny' and go travelling himself.
He instructs his dad to "bring him the globe" before giving it a quick spin and vowing to travel to wherever his finger lands. Which turns out to be Bali!
