Pierce Brosnan took an opportunity to clap back at friends who he claims offered his wife weight loss surgery.
The Irish actor has, once again, proven himself as the dream man we all knew he was, by ruthlessly defending his wife Keely Shaye Smith. We love to see it.
Pierce, 69, and Keely, 58, celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary this month, and the former James Bond star made sure not to let the day pass without shouting about it on social media.
Sharing a photo from their wedding day to Instagram, Pierce wrote: "Happy Anniversary my love @keelyshayebrosnan. We danced that night and still dance the dance today. I could do it all again."

Like us, Pierce's Insta followers couldn't help but swoon over the touching tribute, and filled the comment section with messages congratulations for the happy couple.
"Congratulations, you two! Way to set an example!" commented one follower.
"Wishing you a wonderful anniversary!!" wrote a second. "So proud of you both, may your marriage continue to bring joy to us all"
And a third added: "Happy anniversary! Best Couple ever."

However, people were not as kind over on Facebook, where a cruel, now-deleted, post about the couple went viral.
In the post, trolls made a point to compare how Keely's body had changed over the years since she first met Pierce.
Ever the gentleman, Pierce totally shut down the harsh comments about his wife in the classiest way possible - and managed to hit out at a few cruel friends in the process.

He wrote: "Friends offered her surgery to reduce her weight. But I strongly love every curve of her body. She is the most beautiful woman in my eyes. And also because she had our five children."
The former 007 added that: "in the past, I truly loved her for her person, not only for her beauty, and now I’m loving her even more that she is my children’s mother. And I am very proud of her, and I always seek to be worthy of her love."
And *that* is why he's our favourite Hollywood hunk.

Pierce met journalist Keely back in 1994, and the pair went on to tie the knot in 2001. Since then, the couple shared two sons Paris, 21, and Dylan, 25.
Before he met Keely, Pierce was first married to actress Cassandra Harris, who sadly died from cancer in 1991. With Cassandra, Pierce had son Sean, 38, who he and Keely raised with Dylan and Paris.
