Love Island Fans Baffled After Spotting Tasha's Maternity Photoshoot

Love Island fans are confused after spotting Tasha Ghouri’s maternity photoshoot. 

The 23-year-old bombshell is currently coupled up with Andrew Le Page on the reality dating show. But prior to appearing on ITV, Tasha was a dancer-come-model who worked for the likes of ASOS. 

In fact, the fashion brand even featured the star on their site with a pregnant bump for their maternity range - but fans have become baffled by the shoot. 

“Ok this may just be me seeing things but I was shopping for a dress and I’m convinced this model is Tasha with a fake bump? “I know she’s a model, I was just more surprised to see her with a fake bump,” one Facebook user expressed.

Someone else commented: “Yes! I saw this too and in another pic you can see her hearing aid!”

“Oh wow,” simply said another.

“YES! This is deffo Tasha,” a different social media user confirmed.

Someone else wrote: “Yeah I saw another one that looked like Tasha, too.”

Elsewhere in the post, other onlookers drew comparisons to former Love Islander Arabella Chi, who also modelled for the fashion brand’s maternity range.

“There was someone from Love Island not that long ago that was a fake maternity model,” someone recalled. 

“Arabella Chi,” someone else responded. “Also ASOS maternity.”

It is understood that Tasha was not actually expecting a child during the time of the photoshoot, and instead donned a fake bump for the photos.

A representative of ASOS confirmed to Tyla that they do use non-pregnant models with synthetic baby bumps in some maternity shoots for the brand.

Tyla has contacted a representative of Tasha Ghouri for comment.

Speaking of ASOS-Love Island collaborations, former Love Island winner Millie Court, who split the money with her partner Liam Reardon, was reported to sign a multi-million-pound fashion deal with the company. 

Millie, who used to work with the brand as a buyer’s assistant, launched her first edit with ASOS in December 2021 after making the announcement on Instagram.

She said in the caption: “I can’t believe this day is finally here, my edit with @asos, yes ASOS… is live!!!

“Feels so surreal to be typing this out right now. From working at ASOS doing my 9-5 to now telling you guys to go and shop my edit?!

"This day will go down in history. Thank you to everyone at ASOS and everyone that’s supported me on my journey! Go and spoil yourselves and make sure to tag me in pics wearing my edit. Can’t wait to see you all in it,” she wrote.
