Watson, 28, addressed her Instagram followers on Tuesday evening after the episode aired and expressed her gratitude for the “amazing” support and positive message.
The Instagram post consists of pictures of a positive pregnancy test, an ultrasound scan and a photo from her hospital bed.
She said: “Overwhelmed by the amount of amazing, supportive messages I’ve received regarding the miscarriage I sadly suffered last year,” she wrote.
“So many of you reaching out to say you’ve been through or going through the exact same.”

Watson said she felt the urge to speak about her miscarriage to help stop the topic from being a taboo subject. “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted to keep it quiet, not speak about it, pretend it never happened, but I realised if women continue to do this it’s going to continue to be a taboo topic and that needs to change.
“If me sharing my personal story helps just one other going through the same, then that makes me happy.
“I have shared the full story on the latest episode of @whatwedontpostpodcast for those who want to know more.
Watson finished her post by saying thanks to those closest to her. “Thank you to my amazing boyfriend, my family, my friends, the NHS and all you guys on here for being so supportive, it means the [world emoji].”

Watson’s partner, Cameron McGeehan, shared her post on his Instagram Story.
He said: “Very proud of my girl… talking about an often taboo subject. Bringing it into the light and helping people deal with the grief… helped a lot of other couples not feel so alone.. well done baby.”
According to Tommy’s, a baby loss charity which specialises in researching the causes of pregnancy complications, it is estimated that 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage in the UK.
