However, some fans are divided over the upcoming new series being that Jamie was so involved in her older sister Britney Spears’ conservatorship.

“We will not be watching anything with Jamie Lynn Spears, no matter how essential Zoey 101 was in my childhood,” someone else echoed.

“We want it. Just not with her in it,” another added.
Someone else offered: “Nah. I’d rather have a spin-off of Zoey 101 about her successful older sister.”
“They should have a Zoey 101 reboot but cast Britney Spears,” a different viewer tweeted.
The recently-married pop superstar criticised those 'closest' to her for not speaking up on her behalf, as well as directly addressing her sister in a scathing Instagram post in April - which has since been archived or deleted.

Britney wrote in the post post: “I don't like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes!!!!!”
“My so-called support system hurt me deeply,” Britney added in her post. "This conservatorship killed my dreams...so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill...yet people still try!!!!
“There's nothing worse than when the people closest to you who never showed up for you post things in regard to your situation whatever it may be and speak righteously for support”.
Britney referred to the fact that Jamie Lynn performed one of her songs, ‘Til The World Ends at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards to honour her icon award.
Jamie Lynn also said in an interview on ABC’s Good Morning America that she was not focused on Britney’s conservatorship at the time because she was 'a 17-year-old about to have a baby' and claimed she 'didn’t understand' the legal agreement.
