Miley Cyrus has made it no secret that she’s a huge fan of pop icon Britney Spears – let’s face it, who isn’t?
During her 2021 Super Bowl Performance, Miley took a moment to publicly show her support to the ‘Toxic’ singer, following a recent documentary about her conservatorship.
“We love Britney!” she shouted to the crowd, having just sung her name as part of the lyrics to ‘Party in the USA’.

Yep, the hit track includes a line that says: “My tummy's turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda homesick / Too much pressure and I’m nervous / That's when the DJ dropped my favorite tune.”
First, Miley sings ‘And a Jay-Z song was on’ three times, but later in the song this changes to ‘And a Britney song was on’, again repeated three times.
“So I put my hands up / They're playin' my song, the butterflies fly away / I'm noddin' my head like, yeah / Movin' my hips like, yeah,” it continues.
But just what tune of Britney’s was it that had Miley’s hips grooving?

In a teaser for a forthcoming Spotify Billions Club episode, where Miley will be in conversation with her sister Brandi, she spills the tea on the track that got her fictional self going.
“The burning question everybody wants to know, what Britney song was on?” Brandi asked her.
Miley replied: “If I had to choose one, it would be [‘I’m a Slave 4 U’]. When I watched that video for the first time, that’s when I knew I wanted to be a stripper.”

Laughing, she said quickly: “No, a star!”
Miley then joked: “Why choose when you can be both?”
And it turns out Britney is just as much of a fan.

Back in 2021, she named Miley as part of a shoutout to the ‘cool ladies’ who helped her during her ‘really hard’ Covid lockdown.
She shared pictures of several famous faces, saying: “The women that have truly inspired my life.”
As well as Miley, she also included snaps of Sarah Jessica Parker, Sharon Stone, Natalie Portman, Noah Cyrus, fitness coach Tawny Janae and her sister Jamie Lynn Spears.
"Being away from family and my boyfriend while quarantining was really hard for me," Britney said. “But the good thing about social media is we can connect in a different way that helps us feel not alone in this crazy world."
