Amber Heard has honest four-word comment as she speaks out on Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni

Amber Heard has spoken out about Blake Lively's lawsuit

Amber Heard has commented on Blake Lively's lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, after the actor employed people from the Johnny Depp defamation trial for his team.

Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, after the actors took lead roles in the adaptation of the romance novel It Ends With Us earlier this year.

It has been stated that the on-set environment between the two was 'hostile'.

Not only this, but the 37-year-old actress is accusing her co-star of fuelling a revenge campaign to 'destroy' her reputation.

The mum-of-four is seeking damages, following a claim that Baldoni's alleged behavior was unacceptable.

Documents were leaked from Baldoni's crisis management team, who had devised a plan for if Lively published a 'hit piece' on the actor, following their time on set together.

The plans suggested that Baldoni's team were throwing around the idea of encouraging journalists to scrutinize Lively's past working relationships with several A-listers.

Heard, who was at the centre of a media frenzy following her defamation case with ex-husband Depp, has now spoken out in her defence.

This comes after Baldoni hired prominent PR crisis manager Melissa Nathan - who also worked for Depp during his trial.

In a statement she shared with NBC News, the actress commented: "Social media is the absolute personification of the classic saying ‘A lie travels halfway around the world before truth can get its boots on.’"

But a four-word-phrase made for the most poignant of claims, as the actress added: "I saw this firsthand."

"It’s as horrifying as it is destructive," she continued.

In the infamous case, a jury unanimously found that Heard had defamed Depp, and he was awarded over $15 million in damages.

At the time, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor claimed that the jury had given him his 'life back', but Heard noted that the outcome 'set back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke out could be publicly shamed and humiliated'.

In a statement given to the Times about the lawsuit, Lively said: "I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted."

According to the New York Times, Lively had a list of demands she made on set which included not being shown nude images of other women, no more mentions of Baldoni's alleged past 'pornographic addiction', and no more conversations surrounding Lively's weight.
