Amber Heard appears to respond to claims that her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, will soon be in Spain, where she currently resides.
In 2022, the world was tuned in to the high profile court case between Heard and Depp, who were married in 2015 before calling it quits in 2017.
In 2018, the Aquaman star wrote a op-ed for The Washington Post, titled 'I spoke up against sexual violence — and faced our culture's wrath. That has to change.'

The piece did not mention Depp by name, though his lawyers claimed that it falsely implied he'd physically and sexually abused Heard during their relationship.
This led to Depp to sue Heard for defamation in 2022, who then countersued.
The trial, which took place in Virginia, was ultimately won in Depp's favour - with Heard being given $2 million (£1.6 million) in damages.

The Zombieland star later took to Instagram to reveal that she was 'heartbroken' by the verdict and reportedly had plans to appeal it.
Following the trial, it was reported that Heard had since relocated to Spain along with her three-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige, who she had via surrogate in 2021.
According to local news source El Diario de Mallorca, Heard has also since taken on the name of Martha Jane Cannary.
Now Hola! has reported that Heard was questioned about her feelings regarding Depp being in Spain to premiere his new film, Modi, at the San Sebastian Film Festival.

When asked about her ex-husband's arrival in Spain, Heard reportedly replied: "I'm living here in Madrid, I love Spain. I'm very lucky to be here, and regarding my past, I don't feel like thinking or talking about it, because I'm happy and in peace."
She'd previously told reporters in 2023 that she 'loves Spain so much', adding that she 'loved living here'.
According to a source, Heard is more focused on raising her little girl away, with them telling PEOPLE Magazine last year: "She is focused on raising her daughter. She spends every day with her girl. They stroll around, visit parks and enjoy family time. Amber is a great mom."

The Pirates of the Caribbean star portrays Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani in the title, as well as directing the film.
This film is his third time in the director's chair following 1997's The Brave and 1993's Stuff.
Speaking to Variety about his upcoming movie, Depp said Modigliani 'fascinated' him and what he stood for 'resonates deeply within me', describing him as 'one of the great contemporary artists of all time'.

"He doggedly walked to the beat of his own drum, and possessed a natural allergy for convention during a time where the norm was being openly challenged across every medium." he said.
