Just weeks after news broke that 15-year-old Vivienne Jolie-Pitt has made the decision to drop her father's surname from her surname, it has today emerged that her older sister Shiloh had the same idea in mind - and her attorney claims there's a reason why.
The duo's parents - former celebrity power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt - blindsided fans back in 2016 by announcing their separation and have seemingly remained at loggerheads ever since.
For those out of the loop regarding the A-list divorce - which, at the time, was allegedly based on 'irreconcilable differences' - the following years saw Pitt, now 60, attempted to sue his ex-wife, 49, for selling her share of their jointly-purchased French winery Chateau Miraval to a third party.

In response, the Unwanted star filed a countersuit in 2022, alleging her Mrs and Mrs Smith co-star ex had been abusive to herself and her children during a 2016 flight on a private jet.
The Hollywood duo's cross-complaint alleged that Brad had 'choked' one of their six children onboard the flight, and 'struck another in the face'.
The actor is also said to have 'grabbed' Angelina 'by the head', and 'poured beer and red wine on the children' - accusations that Brad has consistently denied.

Since then, news broke back in May that the couple's youngest daughter Vivienne - who was born to the pair along with her twin brother, Knox, back in 2008 - appeared to have 'dropped' her dad’s last name.
And she isn't the only one as Shiloh also hit the headlines back in May for reportedly making the same decision.
According to a statement released on Sunday (21 July), 18-year-old Shiloh's lawyer Peter Levine, the youngster launched legal proceedings to change her name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie on her 18th birthday in May.

"The media should be more careful in their reporting, especially when covering a young adult who has made an independent and significant decision following painful events, and is merely following legal process," Levine said, as per People.
He also responded to reports that claimed Shiloh had taken out an 'ad' to allegedly announce the news - which he denies.
"Shiloh Jolie did not take out an 'ad' announcing any name change, and any press reporting that is inaccurate," he continued.

"As Shiloh's attorney, I am required to publish a legal notice because the law in California requires that of anyone who wants to change their name.
"That legal notice was published in The Los Angeles Times, as is required."
The sibling duo have seemingly followed of their 19-year-old sister Zahara's footsteps, who reportedly introduced herself as just Zahara Jolie when she joined her sorority at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, last year.
Pitt and Jolie are also parents to sons Maddox, 22, and Pax, 20.
