Back in the day, Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were known across the world as the IT couple.
They were often the must-see duo on the red carpet during the 1990s, having tied the knot in Malibu back in 2000, with fans constantly desperate to see the pair start a family.
What followers of their love story never expected, however, within months of Pitt being cast in action-comedy Mr and Mrs Smith alongside bombshell star Angelina Jolie in 2005, he and Jennifer would subsequently call time on their marriage.

"We would like to announce that after seven years together we have decided to formally separate," they said in a statement at the time.
"For those who follow these sorts of things, we would like to explain that our separation is not the result of any of the speculation reported by the tabloid media,
"This decision is the result of much thoughtful consideration. We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another."
After citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split - with their divorce being finalised that same year - Pitt quickly went public with his romance with co-star Angelina. Causing fans to immediately suspect infidelity.

'Brangelina' later denied these rumours, claiming they 'fell in love' whilst filming together, but didn't act on their attraction until after he and Aniston had parted ways.
Pitt and Jolie went on to welcome six children together before later divorcing themselves.
The pair would go on to endure a bitter custody battle, as well as arguing over their jointly shared vineyard during the legal exchange.

Despite this all being in the past, fans of his former romance with Friends actress Aniston have been left blown away by a brand new revelation that emerged recently.
It turns out that, when the formerly loved-up couple were announcing their shock separation - breaking the hearts of their millions of fans in the process - Pitt made an honest confession to his wife at the time about his relations with then cast mate Jolie.
The news was broken this week by none other than Courteney Cox - Jennifer's 'Monica Geller' co-star and long-term BFF - who told Vanity Fair that Jen was well aware of the connection her husband had formed with his cast-mate at the time.

"I don’t think he started an affair physically, but I think he was attracted to her," she told the publication.
"There was a connection, and he was honest about that with Jen. Most of the time, when people are attracted to other people, they don’t tell,
"At least he was honest about it. It was an attraction that he fought for a period of time."
