Ant McPartlin has spoken out following widespread reports his wife Anne-Marie Corbett is pregnant.
The much-loved Geordie presenter suggested that his and co-host Declan Donnelly's decision to quit Saturday Night Takeaway after 22 years was down to them prioritising their families over their careers.
Reports of Anne-Marie's pregnancy broke on 10 February in The Sun.

The publication explained at the time that the couple - who tied the knot back in 2021, three years following Ant's divorce from make-up artist wife Lisa Armstrong - had wanted children for some time and were over the moon to be welcoming a new addition into their family.
An inside source allegedly told the news outlet at the time: "This is the news everyone wanted. Ant and Anne-Marie are beyond delighted.
"It’s no secret that Ant has always wanted children, but that it may never happen for him was something he had, sadly, come to terms with.
"When they found out last year, they were absolutely delighted, but obviously kept the news quiet for as long as possible."

The source added that welcoming his child ahead of his 50th birthday in November 2025 is the 'stuff of dreams'.
"He’s already a wonderful, doting father to Anne-Marie’s kids, and together they’re going to be brilliant parents to this latest addition to the family."
Ant and Anne-Marie - who has two teenage daughters from a previous relationship - had actually known each other for several years prior to embarking on a romantic relationship, as she'd been his former personal assistant.

They duo had began dating in 2018 - not long after Ant's separation from ex Lisa - before tying the knot three years later and raising two dogs together.
Breaking his silence over the news of his wife's pregnancy, however, Ant, 48, hinted at taking a step down from showbiz to be the ultimate doting dad.
Opening up about his and best pal Dec's recently-announced decision to quit their long-standing ITV game-show Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway after over two decades, he told Fault Magazine: "We need to spend some time with our family. We've both got children."

News that the series would be entering an indefinite hiatus following the upcoming 12th series was announced earlier, citing the extensive planning required and the presenter's hectic work schedules as the reason.
Ant's co-presenter Dec also 48, shares Isla, five, and one-year-old Jack with wife Ali.
Tyla has contacted Ant's representatives for comment on The Sun's report.
