Singer Ariana Grande has issued a heartfelt apology to Cassandra Peterson after she slammed her for being rude.
Peterson, who is best known for her alter-ego Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, shared her worst celebrity encounter while on stage at Knott’s Scary Farm event in response to a question from an audience member.
Peterson explained that Grande had requested tickets for herself and family members, which totalled to 21 free tickets for one of her stage shows.

This show included meet and greets and pictures, however, while Elvira posed for photos and signed autographs for ‘all her friends and relatives’, Grande refused to pose for a picture in return and ditched the event before her performance began.
However, according to Grande, this was a misunderstanding which came at a very vital time of her life.
Taking to Instagram under the post, the 'thank you, next' singer explained that she was ‘disheartened’ by the comments and shared that she had suffered an ‘anxiety attack’ at that time.

She went on to say that the moment Peterson was talking about was something she didn’t ‘even remember’, as she had no memory of meeting the star.
She said that the event Peterson was talking about would have happened around seven years ago, which was after her concert in Manchester, which was targeted by a terror attack, leaving many dead and injured.
At that time, Grande shared that she wasn’t ‘great with being in public crowds or loud places’.

She wrote: "But if I'm misremembering this moment, I sincerely apologise for offending you so.
"Thank you for being so nice to my mum, she told me how lovely you were (she might have different feelings about that now but I'll talk to her... clearly, we all have our days!)."
She then said that she was ‘sending love always’, and that ‘you'll always be our queen of Halloween’.
The video of Peterson went viral, with many people putting their own thoughts into the mix.

She can even be heard laughing when someone said that Grande was ‘playing the wrong witch’ as a reference to her Good Witch Glinda role in the live-action Wicked film.
People in the comments were torn about whether to be angry at Grande’s seemingly diva behaviour, or Peterson for dragging up an experience that came at a terrible time for the singer.
One user wrote: “Ariana Grande is just a strange, home-wrecking person who often acts like a 9-year-old. Honestly, she didn’t deserve a photo with Elvira.”

Someone detailed their own experience with the star: “I mean she denied me for an autographs and I’m nobody. Told me to ‘ask her team’ at the meet and great and they smiled in my face and said no and shooed me off.”
However, others went on to defend the singer for her faux pas.
Someone wrote: “If your worst experiences was a person not taking photo with you and you are 73, YOU ARE ENTITLED AND PRIVILEGED ASF. Wtf.”
Another said: “If she doesn’t wanna take a picture she doesn’t need to??? like okay?”
