It's very rare in today's day and age for celebrities to speak freely on topics that could somewhat damage their reputation.
I mean, with agents sitting in on every media interview and their social media usage monitored by an entire team of publicists, stars are almost totally bulletproof, even when it comes to of their own questionable opinions.
That said, however, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis previously broke convention, when the pair made a rather controversial comment about their personal hygiene.

Appearing on Dax Shephard's popular Armchair Expert podcast in 2021, the loved-up couple - who have been married since 2015 and share two children together - spoke about the topic of showering.
Shepard began an argument with with co-host Monica Padman by telling her: "You should not be getting rid of all the natural oil on your skin with a bar of soap every day."
Friends with Benefits actor Kunis then surprised fans by totally agreeing with him.

"I don't wash my body with soap every day," she revealed. "But I wash pits and t**s and holes and soles."
Padman then replied, admitting: "I can't believe I'm in the minority here of washing my whole body in the shower. Who taught you to not wash?"
And apparently, Kunis' questionable ritual has rubbed off on her other-half, who revealed he regularly uses soap and water on just his 'armpits and crotch' and 'nothing else'.

The duo also went on to reveal that they raise their two kids - Dimitri Portwood, seven, and Wyatt Isabelle, nine - with the same approach to washing.
Kunis explained her outlook on cleanliness: "When I had children, I also didn't wash them every day. I wasn't the parent that bathed my newborns - ever."
She continued: "That's how we feel about our children. We're like, 'Oof, something smells.'"
Kutcher, 46, added: "Here's the thing - if you can see the dirt on 'em, clean 'em.

"Otherwise, there's no point."
Asked why they take such an approach - in a world where celebrities can come under fire for the most unprecedented of life choices - it turns out that Kunis' upbringing led her to value vital washing resources.
The 40-year-old - who was born in Ukraine before moving to America aged seven - then went on to explain: "I didn't have hot water growing up as a child, so I didn't shower very much anyway."

And the couple aren't alone in making a controversial hygiene admission.
Kate Hudson this week admitted that she and close friend Matthew McConaughey go out of their way to avoid a particular hygiene ritual - putting on deodorant.
So much so, that during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the mother-of-three claimed she often caught a whiff of McConaughey 'from a mile away' when they filmed two blockbuster movies together.
