Ben Affleck makes rare admission about Jennifer Lopez relationship

Ben Affleck has made a rare admission about his relationship with Jennifer Lopez.

Now, the celebrity power couple first started dating in the early 2000s before splitting up and later rekindling the flame some twenty years later and tying the knot in 2022.

During their time apart, J Lo went on to marry Marc Anthony, who she shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with while Affleck had three children; Violet, 18, as well as Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

There's been a bunch of speculation and break-up rumours between the 54-year-old 'Jenny from the Block' singer and the Good Will Hunting star, 51.

One of the most recent events took place a few backs (22 May), when Lopez attended the Mexican premiere for Atlas, the Netflix sci-fi action thriller which she's stars in.

And people noticed that Affleck was not present - following on from his absence at the Met Gala - where J Lo was a co-chairwoman.

The rumours picked back up again when Lopez was spotted holidaying alone after being papped with a huge smile on her face as she soaked up the sun while on a boat in Italy.

Since then, the Air actor has opened up about his wife's fame, appearing on an episode of Kevin Hart’s Hart to Heart talk show.

He recalled: "We went somewhere with [Lopez] - I can’t remember because she’s so famous, and she creates this - people love her, and she really represents something important to people."

Affleck continued: "[To me,] people are like, ‘Hey, I like your movie,’ and then they’re like 'AAAHHHH! J Lo!'.

"It’s amazing, you know what I mean?"

Remembering one incident, he went on: "We get out of the car, we were going to a play, and I was like, 'F**k it, babe, we’re going to be late, we gotta walk a block and a half. [Lopez] was like, 'Alright,' she didn’t say s**t'.

"We get out with her, all the kids, through Times Square, and the s**t was like f****n’ bananas."

He went on: "I was like, 'Oh my God'. There was a lady, she was smoking weed, in a full purple skintight suit - she’s a heavy lady - and she starts running backwards filming, going 'JLo!!'"

Opening up about how he may come across to the paparazzi, Affleck admitted: "I don’t like a lot of attention.

"This is why people see me and they’re like, 'Why is this dude always mad?’ Because someone had their camera sticking in my face, and I’m like, 'OK, here we go'."
