Billie Eilish makes heartbreaking admission about her sexuality in honest new interview

Billie Eilish explained why she feels differently about her sexuality now

Billie Eilish made a strong statement about her sexuality and public information about herself during a new Vogue interview.

The singer, 22, has been in the spotlight since she was 13 due to the release of the iconic hit 'Ocean Eyes' which was uploaded to SoundCloud before she choreographed the music video for YouTube.

Since that moment, all we’ve seen is Billie take over the music scene with songs such as 'Bad Guy', 'What Was I Made For?' and 'Lunch'.

However, what has been mostly focused on these past few months is her sexuality.

After spending years wearing baggy and layered clothing, she was constantly told to wear more feminine attire, and at the age of 18, when she appeared on the cover of Vogue wearing a corset, she was once again slated.

This time she was called a ‘sellout’ and looking for attention.

But after going back to her signature baggy style, it was the release of two songs that changed the focus onto whether she was romantically interested in women or not.

However, now she wants privacy and wishes nobody ever knew anything about her.

After she made headlines due to an interview with Variety as she spoke about how she related to girls, she explained to Vogue that she wished she had kept her mouth shut.

She said to Variety at the time: “I love them so much. I love them as people. I’m attracted to them as people.”

Another Variety reporter asked whether she’d intended to come out, to which the singer responded: “No, I didn’t.

“But I kind of thought, Wasn’t it obvious?”

Since that interview where people tried to suggest that she was ‘queer baiting’, she told Vogue this week: “I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever.

“And I hope that they never will again. And I’m never talking about my sexuality ever again. And I’m never talking about who I’m dating ever again.”

She explained: “I guess I also underestimate that things I say will be blown up into the biggest news of the whole world.”

The first song that got people talking online after her Variety admission was 'Guess' alongside Charlie XCX, which featured a breathy spoken verse from Billie which talked about: "Don't have to guess the color of your underwear/ Already know what you've got goin' on down there.

"It's that lacy black pair with the little bows/ The ones I picked out for you in Tokyo/I saw them when you sat down, they were peekin' out/ I'm gonna tell you right now, they're all I'm thinkin' about."

Then, with her release of 'Lunch', it left little to guess what it was about.

The lyrics mention ‘I could eat that girl for lunch’ and ‘she dances on my tongue’ as it ‘tastes like she might be the one’.
