Blake Lively reacts to LA wildfires in first post since Justin Baldoni lawsuit

Blake Lively reacts to LA wildfires in first post since Justin Baldoni lawsuit

The It Ends With Us star filed a legal complaint against co-star Justin Baldoni last month

Blake Lively has returned to social media to speak on the Los Angeles wildfires in her first post since her legal complaint against co-star Justin Baldoni dropped last month.

Thousands of residents local to the Los Angeles area have been forced out of their homes since the 1,200 acre fire broke out on Tuesday (7 January), with at least five people having been killed as a result of the fires.

Among those affected also included a few celebrities, such as Paris Hilton, who issued a statement on social media, Jamie Lee Curtis, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.

An update given to press by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection yesterday claimed there is 'no possibility' of yet controlling the flames.

David Acuna told CNN: "[We are] mostly concerned with ensuring that all people get out of the area because life safety is the most important part, and we're helping plan to that their pets and livestock also have a safe shelter."

Today on her Instagram Stories (9 January), Lively decided to share a few posts about the wildfires currently spreading through California.

Lively shared two stories, both of which included some helpful resources that victims could use, as she wrote on the post: "To everyone affected by the Los Angeles fires..."

The first post appeared to be a Google document compiled by Mutual Aid LA Network (MALAN), with 'countless resources' for those affected, including links to several animal shelters and boarding services.

Lively's second post showed more of the same document, with the star writing: "MALAN is regularly updating this Google sheet with mutual aid resources for folks in LA.

"There's info on shelters, free PPE, food, animal rescues, and more. If you have additional resources, please share them with @mutualaidla."

This is Lively's first social media post on after her legal complaint against Baldoni was released in December 2024.

The 37-year-old formally accused her co-star of sexual harassment and allegedly orchestrating a 'smear campaign' to 'destroy' her reputation.

The mother-of-four also alleged that Baldoni had exhibited 'sexually inappropriate' behaviour towards her, with the legal complaint alleging that he asked the Gossip Girl star a series of inappropriate questions about her own sex life with husband Ryan Reynolds.

She also claimed that Baldoni added 'improvised gratuitous sexual content and/or scenes involving nudity into the film' following her signing on to play the role of Lily Bloom in the adaptation of Colleen Hoover's best-selling novel.

Baldoni has vehemently denied all of Lively's claims.

As well as her social media silence, both she and Reynolds also chose not to appear at this year's Golden Globes.
