Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming has paid tribute to her husband with a sweet Valentine’s Day post, throwing it back with an adorable ‘old school’ snap.
Emma, 45, has been married to the Die Hard actor since 2009, having become a blended family with their two kids and the three daughter Bruce shares with ex Demi Moore.
The family have had to come together in recent years after Bruce announced he was retiring from acting due to aphasia, followed by a diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia in February last year.

Emma has since become an advocate for dementia awareness and support, regularly taking part in panel discussions and events to help others who are in a similar position.
Yesterday she was on the panel for the ‘Love and Dementia: Navigating Relationships Through the Care Journey’ discussion, which was part of Hilarity for Charity’s CareCon and also featured a number of other A-list names including Seth Rogen and Trevor Noah.
With it being Valentine’s Day, she also took the occasion to share a poignant tribute to husband Bruce, writing: “Love is a beautiful thing. Wishing you all a Happy Valentine’s Day.”

The post was accompanied by a throwback photo from 2010, when the couple had visited Niagara Falls.
After someone said they were ‘brave’ for visiting the landmark in February, Emma added in a comment: “Just looked at the date on this picture. It was March of 2010. Old school photo.”
Many people were besotted with the post, saying they could see the ‘true love’ in their selfie while also wishing the pair well.

One commented: “Lots of love in that photo. Wonderful," while someone else said: “Sending you a big hug!! From one care partner (Alzheimer’s) to another care partner.”
Another wrote: “What a beautiful moment.”
And a fourth added: “Amazing picture. True love!”
Last December, Emma also shared another nostalgic picture as she and Bruce celebrated 16 years together.

She wrote: "16 years with this special man. My love and adoration for him only grows."
She continues to speak out as much as she can about Bruce's dementia, in the hope of 'turning her pain into purpose' - as she revealed in a November op-ed in Maria Shriver's Sunday Paper.
Promoting the piece on Instagram, Emma explained that she wanted to share some of the 'lessons' she'd learnt so far.

"Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) doesn’t give you many options," she wrote.
"It can suck all the air out of a room. But I made a choice, to take some power back and pump oxygen back into our lives, for the sake of our girl’s, Bruce and me."
Emma added: "My hope is this brings some light, help and hope to the next family walking through the FTD journey."
