They say that a new year brings new beginnings and it looks as though Chloë Grace Moretz is embarking on a new adventure, as she appeared to announce her engagement to girlfriend Kate Harrison.
The Kick Ass actress shared a snap to Instagram which showed off two matching engagement rings.
The photo was one of many posted to the site to commemorate the end of 2024.

In the caption, the 27-year-old wrote: "Happiest New Year. So thankful for what this year has brought.
"The people, the places, our families, our health, our love.
"Wishing all of you a peaceful start to this new year."

So, there was no outright mention of the engagement but that didn't stop people from flocking to the comments to react.
One person spoke for many when she wrote: "You got engaged?"
Others took the supposed engagement and ran with it.
"Cutest couple everrrrrr, congratulations on the engagement," one fan gushed, while another wrote: "Happy New Year and congratulations! I'm so happy for you guys! Such a great way to begin the new year!"

The post has currently racked up more than 260,000 likes on the site.
One person who gave the post a like was Moretz's former co-star Asa Butterfield, who is better known nowadays as Otis in Netflix's Sex Education.
The two co-starred in Martin Scorsese's 2011 film Hugo.

Moretz and Harrison have been romantically linked since 2018. Before meeting Harrison, Moretz dated Brooklyn Beckham between 2014 and 2018.
She has also been a big advocate for LGBT rights, on account of her brothers being gay.
In a 2018 interview, Moretz admitted that her brothers tried to 'pray the gay away' to appease the conservative town she grew up in.
Meanwhile, while casting her vote in the 2024 US presidential election, the actress made her feelings loud and clear on who she was backing.

In an Instagram post, she said: "I voted early and I voted for Kamala Harris.
"There is so much on the line this election.
"I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor.
"Kamala Harris will protect that for us.
"I believe in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman. We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve."
