Three years after bravely opening up on her life-altering multiple sclerosis diagnosis, Hollywood legend Christina Applegate's teenage daughter has this week lifted the lid on her own ongoing health issues.
The 52-year-old Dead to Me star opened up about her battle with the autoimmune disease for the first time in August 2021, with the condition having since left her with mobility issues.

Ever since then, the mother-of-one - who shares 13-year-old daughter Sadie with Dutch musician husband Martyn LeNoble - has been an open book when it comes to her wellbeing.
For those unfamiliar with multiple sclerosis, this life-long diagnosis can affect the brain and spinal cord, resulting in a wide range of potential symptoms including problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation or balance.
Fronting her own health podcast - in which she has discussed many of the MS symptoms she initially overlooked - Applegate has continuously utilised her high-profile platform to raise awareness of the often devastating condition.
So much so, that she received a standing ovation at last year's SAG Awards, after appearing on stage to present an accolade, accompanied by a cane with the letters 'FU MS' written along the side.

As well as regularly opening up on the ways in which the heartbreaking health condition has impacted her daily life, she has consistently expressed gratitude towards her friends and family for their support, particularly her husband and daughter.
This week, however, in a tear-jerking announcement, teenager Sadie has spoken out about her own health battle, which she's been enduring alongside her mother behind the scenes.
Appearing alongside her mum on her popular MeSsy podcast - which she co-hosts with close friend and fellow on-screen star Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Sadie first of all recalled her experience seeing her mum suffering following her diagnosis.

"When she got diagnosed, it kind of just felt like...not like everything was over but it was hard seeing my mum lose a lot of the abilities she used to have in my childhood," she bravely explained.
"When I was a kid, we would dance in her room for hours at a time."
Surprisingly, however, Applegate's daughter went on to admit that her own health issues have helped her to relate to her mum's woes.
Sadie suffers from a condition known as misophonia, categorised for the intense, overwhelming emotional and physical reactions to certain sounds.

"My two worst are breathing and chewing," the teenage admitted in the podcast.
When it came to her second diagnosis, Sadie also explained that she suffers with POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), which can cause dizziness, fatigue, heart palpitations and headaches.
"When my mom's like, 'I'm in pain right now. I'm having tremors.' If I didn't have [POTS], I probably would be like...I don't know what you're talking about," she admitted.

"But I actually have tremors from POTS. It's definitely a lot easier to understand what she's going through when I have something I'm going through as well."
